Toadfish Divers joined Alexander’s / Dive Shop, Too and Coral Cactus Scuba over the 4th of July weekend for some spectacular diving on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Although it rained Friday night, the days were clear and beautiful.
The water temperature ranged between 82 and 84 degrees. The visibility at San Pedro Island was about 80 feet and the local diving was about 50 feet. Most, if not all of the Sargasso is gone, so it was easy diving. We saw sea horses, turtles, rays, barracudas, sea lions, a sea slug and lots of octopi.
Unfortunately, my underwater housing flooded on the first dive, and so I have no underwater pictures to post. However, I did take advantage of taking above water pictures.
