Lake Day at Biesemeyer Point

Lake Day

Divers 2015-11-22 01

Toadfish Divers, along with East Valley Family Scuba, met on Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Biesemeyer Point for a fun Lake Day event at Lake Pleasant. The picture to the right, shows from left to right, Enrique, Darrell, Stephanie, Kathy, Evy and Kelly on this Lake Day outing. As we were getting ready for the dive, the wind was picking up, and waves were breaking along the shore. The water temperature registered 64 degrees on my computer, we got to a depth of 30 feet, the visibility was about 15 feet, and we dove for about 40 minutes. While some dove with dry suites, 5ml wet suits or 7ml wet suits, we all had hoods and gloves to help keep us warm. During the dive, we saw Bass, Blue Gil and Catfish. The bottom was covered with algae, including the Christmas Trees.

After the dive, we noticed the wind had stopped blowing. We sat around the grill and had some bratwurst, hot dogs, potato chips, carrots and brownies. Thanks everyone for sharing. We all had a fun time and looking forward to our next Lake Day.
