Toadfish Divers met March 5, 2017

Lake Day 2016-02-22March 5, 2017 Lake Day

Toadfish Divers met on March 5, 2017, for a Lake Day event at Biesemeyer Point, Lake Pleasant. We picked a spot along the shore, set up camp and went diving.

Lake Day Dive Report…

The water temperature was about 57 degrees at the start of the dive, and then about 55 degreesĀ at 50 feet. We hadĀ about 25 feet of visibility. We didn’t see any fish this dive, but we did hear another diver who saw a bass. The water level is quite high, so parking along the shoreline was easy for everyone. We had a breeze early in the morning, but it died down by the time we ended the dive.

What happened next…

After the dive, we had hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill. Thanks John S. for bringing a brand new grill for us to use! We also had other goodies, including a variety of homemade salads, fruit and various desserts. Thanks to everyone for sharing in the potluck.

We also had a celebration for John and Rob, for completing their Advance Open Water certifications. Congratulations to you both!
